Staycations at a hotel are big in our family. We have some waterpark-hotels near us, and the kids love going there! We don’t stay for more than a night or two, because they can get expensive, but even that short a time can create a lot of fun family memories!

I don’t think I will head to sunny beaches but I definitely need to become a tourist in my own city. It’s been awhile since I did something out of the ordinary and time has been passing a bit faster than I want it to. These are good ideas and I’ll definitely try to follow up on a couple of them.

Those are all very nice ideas, Salma. I remember making tents out of sheets and couch cushions when I was a kid. It was so much fun! I’ll be home during spring vacation this year, but I will be just coming back after from Montreal for a couple of weeks to visit with my family.

We will be traveling, but not quite yet. You are fortunate, in Vancouver, to have lots to do (I visited Vancouver once, and loved it.). Here in upstate New York, travel is still dicey due to colder than normal weather. In fact, we broke a record low temperature this morning.
