It’s important to remember that you also have to take care of your marriage. We’ve been away a few times, as much as 7 days. That was almost 2 years ago now and what I wouldn’t give for 2 nights away. Dont’ get me wrong, I love Aiden but it’s nice to just get away and not have to worry about feeding someone else and looking after someone else. Hope you had an amazing weekend.

Make arrangements to call home at certain times so you can check in on them. That should give you some peace of mind. Remember, Mommy needs time away every once in awhile. It will help them grow to become independent, and develop strong trust bonds between mother and child.
