Life changes after having kids. It’s a lot more challenging. I used to try and do it all, but really, I couldn’t. It made me exhausted, cranky and sometimes not the greatest mom. The title of the post, How Hiring a Cleaner Can Make You Happier, may sound funny to you, as in how can it make you happier?! But honestly, it really can!
4 Ways Hiring a Cleaner Can Make You Happier
1.It made me stop beating myself up. When I finally got help and realized that I don’t have to do it all, it felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. And I accepted that sometimes, you need help and it’s okay if you can’t do everything!
2. It gave me more time. The amount of time spent each week dusting, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, tubs and mopping, can add up, especially if you’re the only one in the house doing it. Hiring a cleaner to come in once a week or once every two weeks to do all the big stuff is a huge time and energy saver. It lets you focus more on doing the things you want to do whether it’s spending time with friends or family, going to workout, reading or even relaxing.
3. It keeps my house more organized. That might sound weird, but since I know the cleaner will be coming, I keep things tidier and in their places so when the cleaners comes, they can focus on the actual cleaning and not tidying or moving stuff out of the way.
4. And the big one, hiring a cleaner makes me a lot happier. I realized a little while back that having a clean and organized home (as much as possible) made me feel happier on the inside. It’s such a good feeling to walk into a clean house. It also makes me more productive when it comes to work. So see? Hiring a cleaner can make you happier!
I was very happy when recently I had AspenClean come to my house to do a weekly clean. They did such a great job! The cleaning team was really professional and efficient. I loved that they had little booties to put over their shoes when they came in. I know sometimes there is that thought of “how can I trust a stranger in my house?” Well, all AspenClean cleaners are insured and have gone through a criminal record check, which is very comforting.
When scheduling the cleaning, I was able to do it online and give them all the info on what I wanted clean as well as any of the cleaning priorities I had, and this week one of them was cleaning the inside of my fridge, (I hate doing that!)
Another great reason to have AspenClean come to the house is the fact that not only do they bring all their own cleaning supplies, all the products they use are green, natural and eco-friendly. That’s something I really appreciate, especially because I have kids now and being environmentally-minded is a value I really try to teach them.
So if you’ve been on the fence about hiring a cleaner, I honestly do believe that hiring a cleaner has made me so much happier.
