I totally get the struggle! I’ve had issues getting into books since having my son because I just can’t put them down….and since I work evenings, I know I’ll be up til the wee hours reading, so sometimes I just don’t! I’ve been reading more again lately though and am so happy about it. I highly recommend The Rosie Project and the follow-up, The Rosie Effect. Great books! Can’t wait for more from that author!
I also want to read I Am Malala. What an amazing young girl!

I definitely want to read I am Malala… who knows… maybe this summer. I’m not much of a reader…. but I’m trying… and all this encouragement from fellow bloggers is definitely a good thing! 🙂

I used to read a book a month, but lately it’s been more like 3 per year. Too many things to drive the kids to takes away from my reading time.

I LOVE reading!! While everyone is out having fun this summer, you will catch me on my couch or on my bed reading a book on my day off work. And since I now work in a bookstore, there are disadvantages (like my home resembling one). From your list, I’ve read: I Am Malala and The Casual Vacancy. I also found The Good Girl by Mary Kubica a very good book. I want to thank you for this list because I now want to read, The Rosie Project. That sounds like a good book. Happy Reading!

OMG! Your story in the beg of your post was totally me as a kid! I used to get in big trouble for reading in the dark. 🙂 And great minds…for both having similar posts today AND having a few of the same books on our lists!
