2. A Series or Unfortunate Events
We took a break from the Harry Potter books to read the first three instalments of A Series of Unfortunate Events. It’s another series that reeled all of us in. The reason we started is because Netflix launched a series and we watched them after reading the books. There is a movie version to watch as well starring Jim Carey.

Wonder is actually a book I only heard of after the movie recently came out. After we finish the current book we are reading as a family, that is the next one we want to read, and I can’t wait to watch the movie too that stars Julie Roberts and Owen Wilson. Apparently you will need tissues on hand for both the book and movie.

And last but not least is the series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I read through the whole series before discovering that there was a television series and well.
