It’s that time of the week, #3ThingsThursday and I have some fun things to share with you this week!
1. Keyan’s Birthday Cake: Every year, the hubby and I make our kids’ birthday cakes. It was a fun tradition that we started on Keyan’s first birthday. We wanted it to be that special, personal thing we did for them on their special day. Except now we are done. As Keyan gets older, the kinds of cakes he wants get more complicated and intricate. And after last year when we were up until the wee hours of the morning trying to finish of the cake, we decided that it was enough. This year we ordered Keyan’s LEGO birthday cake from Cakes By Shazia. She helped us figure out exactly what we wanted, within our budget and the end result was fabulous. Keyan loved his LEGO cake and it looked and tasted delicious!!
2.Runway to Realway Shopping Challenge: I was invited to participate in Coquitlam Centre’s Runway to Realway Challenge. Each participant got a $50 gift card for Coquitlam Centre and one hour to shop at the mall and come up with an outfit that may have come from the runway and was adapted for real life. We all had a lot of fun chatting, eating and of course shopping! I ended up with a really cute outfit that I can’t wait to wear. And the winner of the challenge put together a great Runway to Realway outfit for her young daughter. Coquitlam Centre always has really fun events and promotions going on, so you should check them out.
3. Coconut Chips: I have to tell you about this amazing snack that we found the other day when we are Costco, Organic Toasted Coconut Chips. We just bought them on a whim and I didn’t actually try them until more than a week later. But when I did finally taste them, OMG, they were so good. They are crispy and sweet and I just can’t stop eating them. What I really love is that there are only three ingredients, all which are easily pronounceable. I would definitely recommend them.
Those are my #3ThingsThursday this week. Pop by and check out my co-hosts as well, Raj from Pink Chai Living and Nisha from Love Laugh Mirch. I’d also love to hear your three things from this week. Just write a post, grab the badge and click on the link below to join in the fun!
