Shopping, I’m not going to lie, I love! Add in awesome deals and I’m in heaven. That’s why I was so excited to head to Guilford Town Centre to do some Black Friday Shopping!
I bundled up my kids and after dropping my son to school, my daughter and I headed over the bridge to go shopping for some good finds. Of course we had a plan. Keyan told me he needed new runners, Kyah wanted black boots and needed a winter jacket and I needed some pyjama’s.
Our first stop when we got to Guilford Town Centre was to take a picture on the couch to enter the Shop Till You Drop Contest.
Then we made our first purchase at the Disney store so Kyah could get an Elsa she had her eye on.
After that we checked out Old Navy, H&M, Payless and the Lego Store. Shopping with a four-year old has it’s limitations, but I have to say, Kyah did very well. After our shopping, we took a break near Starbucks with one of my favorite bloggers, Little Miss Mama, who was also doing her Black Friday Shopping. Of course we had to stop and take a selfie. That’s what we mom bloggers do best 🙂
Once we were back home and I was showing everyone my purchases, I realized we had gotten some great deals! That’s when I was inspired to write a Black Friday Shopping Haul post to share all the goodies we got, so here they are:
1. Pyjama’s from Old Navy
I like the tradition of buying a new pair of pj’s every Christmas so I decided to start that for myself this year. These waffle pyjama’s from Old Navy were perfect, not only because they were 50% off, but also becuase of the coziness factor.
2. Plush Elsa from the Disney Store
Kyah’s eyes widened when she saw the Disney store so we had to go in. And when she saw the plush Elsa, she had her heart set on it so I couldn’t say no. Plus, it was already on sale and then an additional 20% off, so it was worth it, despite the line up we had to wait in to pay.
3. Girls Winter Jacket from Old Navy
My four-year old was close to growing of her winter jacket from last year so we were on the hunt for a new one. She knew what she wanted when she saw it and it was a black puffy coat from Old Navy. They had a 50% off their outwear as well and I also have a handy Old Navy tote that gave me an extra 10% of my purchase which made it an even better deal.
4. Infinity Scarf from Old Navy
I also added an infinity scarf to my collection. This wine color is one of my favorites of the season.
5 & 7. Shoes from Payless
We also hit up Payless to find the shoes that the kids had requested. We found runners for Keyan with his favorite color orange on them. Then Kyah found exactly the black boots she wanted. With the Black Friday sale and an extra 20% off coupon, they were a good buy.
6. Lego
And lastly, we couldn’t make a trip to Guilford Town Centre without stopping at the Lego Store. We brought home a Lego house that doubled as a pen holder and it was very cool!
All in all, I’d say it was a successful Black Friday shop. As I mentioned earlier, my friend and fellow mom blogger, Tairalyn from Little Miss Mama was also shopping and she totally cleaned up, I mean really awesome deals! Make sure you head on over and check out her Black Friday Shopping Haul.
The two of us are also teaming up to give one lucky person $100 in gift cards to spend at Guildford Town Centre. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the rafflecopter below for your chance to win your own shopping haul, so make sure to enter. Good Luck!
