I can’t believe our #moms30for30 challenge is finished! It’s been really great and I’ve learned a lot about clothing, what I do and don’t like and experimenting a little when it comes to fashion. I won’t lie, there were some indecisive days when I wasn’t sure what to wear, but I got a lot of inspiration from some of the other fabulous moms who are doing this 30 for 30 closet remix with me. For more info about 30 for 30 and all my past outfits, click here.
Here are some things I learned:
1. I need more colour in my wardrobe. Basic blacks, greys and white are good but a splash of colour really gives your outfit and yourself an oomph.
2. Layering is a great way to change the look of the same outfit and it keeps you warm in the winter.
3. Since having kids, I just stopped using accessories like earrings, necklaces and belts. But during the challenge I utilized these accessories and I love how it completely changed my outfit.
4. You can still be comfortable and look fashionable.
Here are my looks for the final week:
I’m sure some of you may have noticed that Day 30 is missing. I took a picture, but somehow it wasn’t post worthy. At some point, I will wear the outfit again and take another picture.
All in all, during this challenge, it felt really good stepping out of my box of usual looks and trying things I normally wouldn’t or things that I think wouldn’t look good on me. I definitely recommend trying the #moms30for30 fashion challenge if you want to use the clothes in your closet a lot better.

Its so true that we really forget about all accessories after becoming a mom. I usually just grab whatever I see on the top and feel happy if I’m not smelling of baby food or poop end of the day 🙂
You are looking great and I’m now motivated to dress up 🙂
Thanks Priya. I know it can be hard as a mother to make time for ourselves, but it’s important to feel and look good when we can 🙂
You did amazing Salma! That last outfit with the mint and burgundy – I just love that look.
Thanks Raj! The last look was a suggestion from another fashion blogger.
Congrats on completing the 30 in 30 challenge. You look amazing in these outfits. Wasn’t it fun and it totally opens up your eyes to new possibilities doesn’t it??? I might do a spring one, but for a week. I’ll let you know, would love to have you join.
