Hold on to your hats because I have some exciting news!  Netflix now gives you the ability to download many of their shows and movies and watch them anywhere, even when you have no wifi. Yes you heard right, you can watch Netflix without the internet!

I can’t tell you handy that will come in, especially on flights where there is no TV for the kids or when I’m in the change room trying on clothes.  Now, instead of buying an expensive digital movie for them to watch, we can download a bunch of their favourite shows and movies, for free! And that goes for us grown ups too.

Instructions

Before you start downloading, this is what your need:
– Either iOS 8.0 or newer OR Android 4.4.2 or newer
– You need to make sure you’ve updated your Netflix app on your device
– You’ll need an internet connection to do the download

How to download:
Pick a movie or series you would like to download.  Go to the description page and click on the download icon  .
For movies, the download icon is right under the description.

For TV shows, the download icon will appear right next to each episode.

Once your movie or show is downloaded, you can access it from My Downloads under the notifications in your Netflix app.

It’s all pretty simple and so exciting! There is a long list of movies and shows you can pick from like Orange is the New Black, Love Actually, Paw Patrol, Matilda and more! Don’t you love the you can watch Netflix now without internet!
