This week’s meal plan is ready to go! Hopefully it will give you some ideas and recipes that you can use for dinner this week.
Mon – Dinner at my mom’s house
Tues – Homemade Chicken Strips and Fries with mixed veggies
Wed – Sesame Udon Noodles
Thur – Seasoned Tilapia with Zucchini
Fri – Gluten-Free Mac and Cheese with steamed edamame
Sat – Leftovers
Sun – Dinner at the mother-in-law’s
Have a great week!
I tried to do meal plans once. I just couldn’t stick to it. I usually ended up not in the mood for the food planned so we’d do something else instead! Your plan sounds interesting though.
I love zucchini and tilapia! The sesame udon noodles sound really good, too. Once when I made edamame, purchased frozen edamame and threw it in with my stirfry veggies, thinking it was like pea pods. My mother thought they were quite tough. Later, when I re-read the package,I saw the directions were to discard the hard shell and eat the peas inside! I never admitted my mistake. And I’ve never bought them since!
Thanks for the recipes!
Amy
You’ve got two easy days in the coming week. Wish I could pop into a relative’s house for a meal, but mine live far away. Enjoy your closeness.
What a blessing to be close enough to your parents to pop in for a meal now and then! You are a very wise young woman to make out your menu in advance: it saves lots of effort to just sit down and figure it out in advance!
Hi Salma,
Nice way to plan out your means! Great post!
As much as I plan for meals, I usually end up ordering out a couple times due to not feeling well.
Sounds like a great plan for the week. I think I’ll grab that idea for the Seasoned Tilapia with Zucchini. I’m so used to having rice or beans with our fish.
I’ll stop by on Thursday for your Seasoned Tilapia with Zucchini, if you don’t mind. My goodness, that sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing your awesome organization with us. I’m in awe. 🙂
Looks like a great meal plan! That is one of my goals this year… to stick to a meal plan. I may be visiting again to get some ideas 🙂
