We are still in the thick of this very warm weather so the kids and I found a delicious way to cool down with a sweet treat, homemade Watermelon Popsicles.
Indgredients:
– 2 cups of cubed watermelon
– 1 cup of cut strawberries (or any other fruit you like)
– 1/2 cup of water
– 1 Tbsp sugar (optional)
Instructions:
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and puree.
2. Pour into popsicle mould
3. Let it freeze for a few hours and then enjoy!
What’s your favourite homemade frozen treat?

It’s perfect if you love watermelon!
What a great idea! There’s no better combination than watermelon and strawberries, in my opinion. Thanks for this!
It really is yummy Jeanne!.
Mmmm!
Fab idea. I want one! 😛
Thanks Sophie.
My favorite sorta homemade treat is milk over ice cream…you let it sit for a few minutes then eat the icy edges off….not quite a milkshake but very good
Sounds delicious and perfect for a hot day.
Perfect summer Popsicles:)
That they are 🙂
Great idea. I will probably do this with a mix of the fruit we have on hand.
Another idea is to use jello mixed with whipped cream and fruit chunks.
I think it would be great with any fruit. The jello sounds fun too!
Oh wow!! This brings back so many happy memories of making these types of ice lollies with my mum when I was a kid.
Loved them – all the more special because they were home-made.
Thanks for making me smile. The kids are certainly enjoying their lollies 🙂
I agree, there just seems to be something special about homemade popsicles.
