It’s Thursday again! This week I looked through my photos on my phone to see which ones I wanted to share for 3 Things Thursday and some how they all ended up being about the kids, in a way. Good thing they are cute!
1. Family Bike Ride
When we went for a visit to Winnipeg in June, the kids had a ton of fun when we went on a family bike ride. So on the last day or our trip to Penticton, we decided to do the same thing. We headed to Okanagon Lake and rented a 6-seater bike for an hour. We had lots of fun and apparently exercise too because all of our legs were sore the next day!
2. Princess Power
Earlier this summer, Kyah went to her first summer camp at Pulse Dance Centre called Princess Power. It was a week long dance camp for children aged 3-4 from 9am-12pm. She really enjoyed herself and asked if she could go again. So this week, Kyah is participating in Princess Power 2 and it’s been going really well. Everyday she has a smile on her face when I pick her up and she’s excited to show me what dance moves she’s learned that day. I can’t wait for the final day when we get to see the performance!
3. Summer Reading
This week, the kids also got to pick up their medals for the Summer Reading Club at the local library. The goal was to read for 20 minutes each day for the 7 weeks of summer and record all the books. Then each week they would come to the library to collect stickers. Unfortunately we missed the actual medal ceremony this year because we were out of town, but the kids were just as happy and proud to pick up the medals at the library desk for their summer reading achievements.
Those are my #3ThingsThursday this week. Here is how you can participate. Write a blog post about three things you want to share. Grab the badge from the top of my post. Make sure to link back to either myself, Salma at The Write Balance, Raj at Pink Chai Living or Nisha at Love Laugh Mirch. Then click on the linky below to add your post. It’s that simple.
Have a wonderful Thursday!
That six seater bike looks really fun!
I’d love to have a ride on that family bike. I’d be smiling along with the kids.
Love the family bike ride! So fun. 🙂
I just visited my family back home the week before last and we went on a bike ride together as well! It’s a great way to do something outdoor with your family and get some exercise at the same time. I haven’t ever been on a 6 sitter bike though… looks pretty cool.
And congratulations to the kiddos for their reading medals! 🙂
