F45 – A Life Changing Workout (Blogiversary Giveaway #2)
Exercising is a big part of my life. I wake up every weekday morning at 5:10am, get ready and head to my F45 workout class.
For me exercise and working out is so important and I do it for a number of reasons. It’s to have a healthy body, it’s to get stronger and it’s really for my mental health. I really believe that exercising regularly Makes Me a Better Mom and a better person.
About 9 months ago, one of my friends told me that she was going to try out this new workout place that she had heard about. She said it was supposed to be an amazing workout. I was always up for trying some new so I signed up for my free 2-week trial at F45 Port Coquitlam.
After my first class, I was completely hooked. F45’s tagline is Team Training, Life Changing. And it really is life-changing.
I would say that since starting out at F45, I am probably the strongest and fittest I have ever been. I can do push up (not from my knees) I can push the limits of how heavy I can lift, I can do bench hops without stopping and generally, my body can do some much more than I knew it was capable of. And that’s all within a 45 minute workout.
F45 has become an integral part of my day. Not only to I look forward to exercising there everyday, the people are amazing. The owners and trainers know you, they talk to you, they encourage you, help you and push you to do your best. The other members become your friends. It’s an amazing community that F45 Port Coquitlam has created and that’s why I wanted to include it in my 5 Days of Giveaways for my 5 Year Blogiversary!

My favourite type of exercise is dance. I’ve taken classes from ballet to salsa and have discovered muscles I didn’t know I had in each type of dance class 😉
I love hiking because I can bring my dog and I love the weight room.

Salma I couldnt agree with you more! I have been struggling with my weight for years! I am a strong person but have so many issues that when my daughter told me about F45 I didn’t think it could be for me. But I was wrong. I LOVE IT! Now I get up early to workout. It is such an positive place!

I have always wanted to try F45 ever since they promoted their grand opening in Port Coquitlam! I have a few favourite exercises. Cardio I like to jog.. and body weights exercise I think push ups! And weights I like concentrated bicep curls!

My favourite type of exercise is any one that makes me sweat! A good HIIT workout or a long run. : )
I like body weight exercises, keeps things simple and you can do them anywhere!!!

Trying to get into shape after baby number 2..,,much harder as you get older. Even joined a moms soccer team to help with physical activity!!!
I play soccer on the tcmg urban mommas soccer team.. I used to do Zumba but cant find the time to commit to a weekly schedule.
