I try and meal plan whenever I can because really, it just makes my life a whole lot easier. I don’t always get a chance to share it with you guys but some people have been asking about it lately so I’m posting my first meal plan for December.
Monday – Dinner at my mom’s house
Tuesday – Shrimp and Pea Pilau
Wednesday – Honey Mustard Baked Chicken with yam fries and steamed broccoli
Thursday – Thai Chicken Pizza with sautéed snap peas
Friday – Bison Burgers with Greek Quinoa Salad
Saturday – Leftovers
Sunday – Dinner at the mother-in-laws house
Now that my meal plan is complete, I am going to be to be doing my grocery shopping from the comfort of my home and have it delivered here, how awesome is that?! And it’s all thanks to the lovely Little Miss Mama who introduced me to this luxurious way of online grocery shopping!

I love meal planning!! We’re planning on doing breakfast for dinner, pesto pasta and veggies, mashed potatoes and veggies and soy chicken (we’re a vegetarian house:) and a stir fry. My kids eat dinner at their dad’s 3 nights out of the week so I get off easy those days!
I love the idea of meal planning but it doesn’t become a reality in our household!
Ooo, some of those look delicious. We try to plan, but it doesn’t always work out. Sometimes it’s a case of looking at what we have left over because we don’t do a food shop every single week.
We plan meals at out house as well. It can be tough to do this each week, but we find that we eat more nutritiously as a family when we do. Looking forward to seeing more of your meal plans!
