For some reason, last week’s meal plan fell by the wayside. But this week’s meal plan is ready to go. When I’m making the plan, I usually make a grocery list at the same time to simplify the process. I also found a great idea for a Meal Planning Board if you want to try it out.
Monday- Thai Chicken Pizza with a green salad
Tuesday – Slow Cooker Orange Chicken with roasted asparagus
Wednesday – Dinner at my Mom’s
Thursday – Prawn curry with basmati rice and steamed broccoli
Friday- Slow Cooker Chicken Chili with sour cream and homemade baked fries
Saturday – Leftovers
Sunday – Dinner at my mother-in-law’s house
Just a note, that with the chili, I’ve made some of my own adjustments to suit our family like replacing tomato soup with diced tomatoes, adding some sliced mushrooms and corn kernels and no all-spice because I don’t have any.
I hope this gives you some ideas for your meals this week.
Wow sounds like a great menu! I think i’ll try one of the recipes myself this week! Thxs
Thanks Aliza! Let me know which one you end up trying and how it works out.
I’m so excited that you are trying my menu planning system! I hope that it goes well for you. 🙂 I really appreciate you linking to Sew Creative.
Best Wishes,

No problem Crystal. It’s a really great idea!
I’m quite intrigued by the orange chicken. I think it may be time for me to pull the slow cooker out for the back of the cupboard and give it a shot. I’ve never really learned to get the best use out of my slow cooker!

Pink Chai Style
Those poor slow cooker’s do collect a lot of dust Raj. I purposely added the slow cooker recipe to my meal plan to make sure I use it occasionally. Some people swear by it on a daily basis! I hope the recipe works out for you.
