I love that watermelon season is here! We eat it all the time but it’s always the same way. I’ve never tried using them in other recipes. So today I used some watermelon to make a smoothie and it was delicious!
Ingredients:
– 2 cups of cubed watermelon
– you can add any fruit you have on hand (I used 1/2 cup of raspberries but bananas or strawberries would work too)
– 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
– 1/2 milk (any kind of milk tastes great)
-1/2 cup of ice
Instructions:
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend.Β That’s pretty much it. Put in your favourite smoothie cup and enjoy.

AMAZING! I will have to try that tomorrow. Do you think the taste is strong enough to add spinach and make a spinach smoothie?

Hmm, I never thought about it. It’s not super strong but I feel like spinach might work because it’s not so overwhelming. Let me know how it works out.
