I am sharing three random things in this week’s #3ThingsThursday. What brings them together? They are all pretty sweet, (both literally and figuratively.)
1. Holly & Halligan Cupcakes
I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to tell you about these amazing cupcakes. On my birthday, the hubby brought home a box of Holly & Halligan Cupcakes and they were seriously delicious! We had three chocolate cupcakes, one with nutella icing, one with peanut butter icing and one with salted caramel. Of course I had to try all of them. I also have to mention that my husband can’t eat wheat, so they made special gluten-free cupcakes for him, and they were delicious too! Definitely a must try.
2. Family Birthday Party
Last Thursday was Keyan’s 6th birthday and we had our immediate family come over for dinner and cake. As per Keyan’s request, we had pizza, veggies and dip and a special yoda ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. It’s always nice to celebrate on the actual birthday with family and capture the memories. His friends party is on the weekend at 4Cats Shaughnessy where they will be making clay yoda’s. I promise to share all the details in a post next week.
3. Pampr Yourself
A little while back, I wrote a blog post about an at-home spa service called Pampr, that the husband and I tried. The couples massage was really great, especially the convenience factor of them coming to us. Many people mentioned wanting to try it out, so now I get to give you all a special deal! If it’s your first time trying Pampr, you can can get a $25 discount! All you need to do is enter the coupon code THEWRITEBALANCE. And it’s good for one use. Enjoy!
Those are my three random things this week. If you want to join in the fun, here’s how. Write a blog post about three things you want to share. Grab the badge from the top of my post. Make sure to link back to either myself, Salma at The Write Balance, Raj at Pink Chai Living or Nisha at Love Laugh Mirch. Then click on the linky below to add your post. It’s that simple.
