I grew up making new year’s resolutions with my family. But what I’ve learned over the years is that for the majority of people, resolutions don’t stick around for the long haul, especially if they are big, sweeping changes. I think that if you want to make a change or start something new, you don’t need to wait for a new year, a new month or even a new week, just start! That being said, if you are thinking of making changes, here are 5 things to change in 2022.
5 Things to Change in 2022
1. Practice Gratitude Each Day
Being grateful each day makes you feel happier, makes you more content with your life and it even makes you more productive. It can be as simple as sharing 3 things you are grateful for at the dinner table with your family. Or it can be a 5 minute gratitude journal you write in each morning or before bed. I like this journal from Chapters, or this one inexpensive one from Amazon.
2. Diversify Your Feed
This is the year to diversify your social media feed. If the people you follow all look the same, look for more people to follow that look like you; more people of color, people of different shapes and sizes. This will help you see and remember how diverse the world is, that people come in lots of shapes and sizes and that all bodies are good bodies!
3. Drink more water
